Are you ready for more Deadpool or have you had enough? What if I told you the new Deadpool VR game lets you BE Deadpool in all his gory glory?
Do you dare to become the maniacal mogal Mojo’s newest star du jour? Does facing off with a string of the X-Men’s most lethal enemies like Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, the Reavers, and even the not so specifically X-Men related villain, Mephisto? Well, if you’ve got a Met Quest 3 or 3S VR rig, here’s your chance.
Officially announced at Gamescom 2025, in Cologne, Germany, Marvel and Meta debuted the new story trailer with in-game footage and Ryan Rey- err, Neil Patrick Harris providing the voice for our titular (teehee) anti-hero, Deadpool. John Leguizamo gets in on the fun as Mojo, the man (?) behind the madness, setting Deadpool up with the opportunity to get Mojo his highest ratings ever… or die (which might get even higher ratings).
Can Deadpool defeat all of these top tier, bloodthirsty villains that have even given Wolverine a run for his money? Expect lots of violence, big laughs, and lots of 4th-wall breaking surprises in this immersive VR, first person, thrill kill battle royale.
But hold on, let’s get back to this Neil Patrick Harris as Deadpool business. What happened to Ryan Reynolds? It’s not like he’s busy beyond doing that soccer reality show and slinging gin. I’m thinking he has a little something to say about getting replaced… (2 months ago)
Deadpool VR will be released November 18, 2025 exclusively for Meta Quest 3/3S.
