Marvel Entertainment has launched the first official trailer for the brand new Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series coming exclusively to Disney+ on January 29th. It’s got a fun mix of vintage comic style with clear nods to Steve Ditko done in a modern animation execution that leans into the Tom Holland era of Spidey adventures (but it clearly isn’t the same version – watch the trailer for some pretty obvious clues). I had originally thought this was an “early years” version of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, but it’s clear I was wrong.
