As one of the most iconic creators to step out of Marvel’s stable of ultra-popular creators during the Image exodus, Rob Liefeld went on to create the first independent #1 charting, million selling comic with Youngblood #1.
Now he’s returned to the character and teaming up with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, who was there with Rob during the Image Revolution in 1992 that launched with the original Youngblood series and is now the CEO of Platinum Studios Inc and will be publishing the new series.
Most fans know Rob from his work at Marvel co-creating Deadpool and providing art for the New Mutants and X-Force comic series. After many years away from the Youngblood characters, Rob seems excited to dip his feet back into these familiar waters and take it in a new direction that hopes to draw in old fans and new.
“It’s so great that I can run into the comfort of characters that I created, that launched a movement. They carry such history. I love Youngblood so much. These characters are my absolute passion.”

In celebration of this new launch, watch for more announcements from the team, including plans to release a Youngblood Vault Edition that features high resolution scans of the original art from the first Youngblood series in a deluxe oversized hardcover.
