People always ask if Superman is still relevant, still needed in the world. While some of the people in this trailer don’t seem too keen on having him around, as for me, this new teaser trailer is a tiny peek into the hero we all need.
James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) has written and directed this film for a new generation of DC comics films, with Kal-El/Clark Kent portrayed by David Corenswet, who doesn’t look too invulnerable in the first few seconds of this trailer, but I have faith he’ll come around (with a little help from a friend). There’s a lot packed into these few minutes, but I’ll leave the analysis and the surprises to discuss another time. Just watch the trailer already!
Superman is expected to debut in theaters July 11, 2025.
